Convert PDF invoices to ZUGFeRD, officially validated
Your software keeps producing PDF invoices. You upload them, we turn them into ZUGFeRD e-invoices (XRechnung on request), re-check every total against the original and validate every file with the official validator.
Try it with 5 invoicesHow your PDF becomes an e-invoice
- Upload the PDF — One invoice or a combined PDF with up to 50 invoices. Word, Excel or a photo work too.
- Read and re-check — Each invoice is read and rebuilt as an e-invoice. Lines, tax and totals are re-checked against the original. Anything that does not add up is flagged, never silently corrected.
- Official validation — Every file runs through the official KoSIT validation. You see the result for each invoice.
- Approve and send — You approve, download all e-invoices as a ZIP and send them to your customers as usual. Original and e-invoice stay in the archive for 10 years.
Validated, not just converted
- ZUGFeRD or XRechnung — ZUGFeRD (EN 16931 profile) is a PDF with embedded invoice data, readable by people and software. XRechnung is pure XML, often required by public-sector buyers. You choose the format per customer.
- No system change — Your billing software stays exactly as it is. No interface, no update.
- With proof — Producing a file is easy. We show you it is right: totals re-checked, officially validated, with a validation report for every invoice.

Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between ZUGFeRD and XRechnung? — Both meet the European standard EN 16931. ZUGFeRD is a PDF with an embedded XML file, readable by people and machine-readable. XRechnung is a pure XML file, mostly required by public-sector buyers, often together with a Leitweg-ID.
- Is a PDF invoice already an e-invoice? — No. In Germany a plain PDF counts as an other invoice. An e-invoice carries structured invoice data under EN 16931, for example as ZUGFeRD or XRechnung.
- When do I have to issue e-invoices? — Every business in Germany has had to be able to receive e-invoices since 1 January 2025. Businesses with more than EUR 800,000 prior-year turnover must issue them from 1 January 2027, all others from 1 January 2028.
- What does the conversion cost? — You prepay per invoice: size S for a one-off test with 5 invoices, M to XL for a year of invoicing. The prices are on this page under Pricing.
- Who is responsible for the invoice content? — You are. We take the values from your invoice, re-check them and validate the format technically. Tax content such as tax rates stays your decision. We do not give tax or legal advice.
